Charge Pro SD can refer an independent operator for a non-Tesla EV. Charge Pro does not charge the car as a Charge Pro crew. The operator confirms that the equipment they actually carry matches that vehicle and pin. When on-site charging will not fit, transport is a separate job.

If the car is in a travel lane or another dangerous place, call 911.

An independent operator checking the charge port of a stranded non-Tesla EV

The operator and the equipment

The vehicle badge alone does not answer the question. Share year, make, model, charge-port information, and where the car stopped. Charge Pro is a referral. Charge Pro does not perform charging, towing, diagnosis, or repair. Non-Tesla EV rescue is a matching start. See San Diego non-Tesla EV rescue.

Mobile charging versus a tow

A possible on-site charge and a tow are different tools. Charge Pro does not rank one as better. The operator confirms what they can provide. Charging time depends on state of charge, battery capacity and type, the vehicle’s onboard charging capacity, equipment output, and electrical service. Confirm live on the U.S. DOE Alternative Fuels Data Center.

Mobile EV charging is a matching start. See mobile charging versus towing.

Connectors

J1772 and J3400 (NACS) are shown for AC Level 2. A CCS vehicle inlet uses the J1772 portion for AC charging and adds two lower pins for DC fast charging. Connector compatibility still requires the exact vehicle and equipment. This page will not freeze CHAdeMO as Charge Pro equipment. Adapters should not be assumed.

When on-site charging may not fit

Access, a locked port, or a car that will not take a charge can make transport the next step. Charge Pro does not decide the physical work. The independent operator evaluates the stop.

Call (858) 400-4465. Charge Pro does not send a Charge Pro crew.
