How fast is your mobile charging?

It is 240V at 9.6 kW, Level 2 AC charging, the same rate as a typical home wall connector. In round numbers: 30 miles of range per hour of plug-in time. Not a DC fast charger. The goal is to get you to the next Supercharger or home, not to fill the battery.

Do you support Rivian, Ford Lightning, Ioniq, EV6, Polestar?

Yes. Tesla is the highest-volume rescue in the county, but the source is a standard 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet, and any EV with a J1772 or CCS adapter can charge from it. Operators carry the adapters.

Can I schedule a mobile charge ahead of time?

Yes. Tell us the location and the window when you call and we'll line up an operator. Popular for film shoots, wedding venues, fleet yards without Level 2, and Airbnb hosts who want a better amenity for EV guests.

Is this the same as a DC fast charger truck?

No. Purpose-built mobile DC fast chargers exist (SparkCharge, Revolution, etc.) and deliver 24 to 200 kW from a diesel or battery trailer. This is Level 2 AC charging from a standard 240V outlet, lower speed, much lower cost, and more than enough for the 10 to 20 miles of range most rescues need.

North Coastal Mobile Charging in Oceanside Oceanside sits at the south end of the county's longest serviceless freeway run, the Camp Pendleton stretch of I-5. Coastal marine layer is mild on range, but drivers coming down from Orange County often arrive on empty after betting they'd make it.

North County Inland Mobile Charging in Escondido Escondido sits in an inland valley that runs 10 to 15 degrees hotter than the coast in summer. The climb up SR-78 or I-15 from sea level, plus heavy AC load, drains range faster than the dash estimate suggests.
East County Mobile Charging in El Cajon El Cajon sits in a valley bowl that traps summer heat into the upper 90s. Heavy AC load on those afternoons cuts EV range, and drivers coming inland from the coast often arrive with less charge than the trip computer promised.
South County Mobile Charging in Chula Vista Chula Vista splits in two for range. The bayside flats are easy, but the long climb east on Telegraph Canyon and Olympic Parkway toward EastLake and Otay Ranch, plus hotter inland summers with the AC working, drains batteries faster than the map suggests.
Coastal Mobile Charging in La Jolla La Jolla's geography works against a low battery. Mount Soledad rises nearly 800 feet from the coast, the Village grinds through stop-and-go most of the day, and parking garages tempt drivers into letting the car sit at single digits.
Central Mobile Charging in Scripps Ranch Scripps Ranch sits several hundred feet above the 15, and every trip home ends with a climb. Warm inland summers add AC load on top, so packs that looked fine at sea level read noticeably lower by the driveway.
