“EV service San Diego” can mean a scheduled shop visit or a car that will not move. Those are different jobs. Charge Pro SD is a referral service. Charge Pro SD can refer an independent operator for a stranded-vehicle call. Charge Pro does not run a lift, a parts counter, or a warranty bay.
What most people mean by EV service
A driveable car with a warning, a noise, a range drop you cannot explain, or a due maintenance item belongs at a dealer or an independent shop that works on that make. That work can include software updates, brake service, suspension, high-voltage diagnosis, and warranty or recall handling. Your owner’s manual and the shop you choose own that path.
This page will not list a maintenance schedule as Charge Pro procedure. See EV maintenance schedule for general context, not as a substitute for the book for your VIN.
When you need a mechanic or service center
If the car still drives and the problem is not “I cannot leave this pin safely,” schedule a shop. Onboard-charger faults, climate faults, persistent messages, and warranty work are shop jobs. Charge Pro SD does not diagnose those on the phone as a branded lab.
When a roadside referral can fit
Roadside matching is for a vehicle that is immobilized or unsafe to continue: an empty traction pack, a car that will not power on, or a similar stop where the next step is energy delivery, a manufacturer-manual jump, or transport. If the vehicle is in a traffic lane or another dangerous place, call 911. Other metropolitan freeway requests can go through 511. Say “Roadside Assistance.”
Charge Pro SD does not perform tire service, lockouts, or mechanical repair. An operator who accepts the referral confirms whether they can attempt energy delivery, a low-voltage jump, or transport for that car, that connector, and that pin. They quote before work starts. You pay them.
J1772 and J3400 (NACS) appear as AC Level 2 families in DOE material. CCS is DC. This page does not authorize DC-fast gear on a referred operator. See emergency EV roadside assistance and mobile EV charging.
Charge Pro SD is not a repair shop
Charge Pro does not replace packs, update software, or fix rattles as a Charge Pro crew. If the car still drives, use a shop for that VIN.
Call when the car is stranded in San Diego County. Call (858) 400-4465. Charge Pro does not send a Charge Pro crew.
